Barcelona
Barcelona chair series were designed by Mies Van Der Rohe (1886-1969) for the German Pavilion at Barcelona specifically for King Alfonso XIII and his queen, it is based on the design of an accident classical folding stool. Like many of Mies's furniture designs, the chair was the result of a collaboration with an ex-Bauhaus student,Lily Reich.
